ExpeData Signature Capture Solutions
The ExpeData Signature Capture product family enables the electronic capture and transmission of handwritten signatures. The development of the family of signature capture products was driven by the assorted needs of the marketplace and our customers. All ExpeData signature capture solutions produce a high-quality signature image (640 DPI) and easily integrate with Independent Software Vendor (ISV) applications.
Signature Capture Slip Application
The Signature Capture Slip application enables a signature to be captured using a Bluetooth®-enabled digital pen on pattern paper (slip). The signature is sent wirelessly to a mobile communication device where it appears on the mobile device screen. The Signature Capture Slip application offers easy and efficient integration with existing applications. This solution is durable and portable; easily fitting in a pocket. The Signature Capture Slip application is available for use with the RIM BlackBerry and the Motorola family of phones. Interaction with the ExpeData EDW™ platform is not required.
ExpeData also offers a Signature Capture Slip application that runs on a PC.
Signature Capture with the EDW™ Platform
Signature Capture is offered as part of the EDW™ platform. A signature datatype is available and any form can have one or more signatures as part of its definition. The signature is provided as a graphical object along with the remaining data extracted from the handwritten form.
Contract Signature Capture
In the Contract Signature Capture solution, signatures are captured and delivered to a customer’s server without the EDW platform maintaining any long-term record of the forms involved. Since no other data is transmitted, confidential information remains securely within the walls of the customer’s original system. Pattern is assigned only to the area of the form where the signature is written, and the form can contain preprinted data from the customer’s system.
This application includes a secure portal for PDF representations of the digital signature to upload to the customer’s runtime environment. This application requires an EDW™ Server which is integrated with the existing system through ExpeData’s API set.
