FamHost Deploys the ExpeData Digital Writing Platform
Dayton, Ohio (September 30, 2007) ExpeData® announced today that FamHost is deploying the ExpeData Digital Writing Platform, EDWP. The ExpeData Digital Writing suite of products provides their partners the ability to host the same ExpeData software for their customers as they have been using on the ExpeData ASP.
ExpeData makes it easy for companies to be up and running quickly, providing all of the tools, methodologies and knowledge-transfer which are necessary for an organization such as FamHost to implement and support a digital writing infrastructure for their customers. The ExpeData Digital Writing Platform consists of a scaleable, secure, multi-tier Web service to process the handwritten input, output digital images and route interpreted XML data. Using industry standard tools, maintenance and system support are simplified. Users from around the globe can access their data over the Web to review and validate their input.
ExpeData has introduced a lights-out capability to allow FamHost to better support their ExpeData Digital Writing platform. Wherever the system uses storage for logs and backup files, the storage is managed. When usage reaches certain limits, automatic deletion of older files occurs or system administrators are proactively notified. As a result, the administrative load is lighter and extensive hands-on administrative management is not required.
FamHost has already installed the EDWP software and has moved their customers to their internally hosted ExpeData Digital Writing Platform. FamHost is using the same integration to their LinkWriter system as when their customers were on the ExpeData ASP making the transition very smooth.
