ExpeData is the global leader in the emerging enterprise digital writing, EDW, technology. Our EDW™ platform solution captures handwritten information at the point of entry and instantly converts it into electronic text with high accuracy. The converted data is output in industry standard formats and available for download to ERP, CRM, HIS and other downstream enterprise applications and back-end systems.

Significant demand for our solution has necessitated expansion of our Customer Care group by the addition of Senior Technical Support Managers for key accounts.

Position Description

The Technical Support Manager employs deep technical competency and experience to assist Sales Executives and channel partners win new accounts, and support customers by:

  • Evaluating customer needs for EDW solution deployment
  • Defining, configuring and customizing the specific solution based upon:
    • Customer application
    • Customer technology environment
    • ExpeData Digital Writing solution components and APIs
  • Optimizing the business workflow using EDW
  • Identifying potential system enhancements or features to EDW based upon customer needs
  • Liaising with the development team in creating the optimal solution
  • Supporting customers during the design and implementation of the solution  
  • Assisting customers after the sale as they use the ExpeData products
  • Participating in delivery of structured training classes to customers on product utilization and integration

The successful candidate will have:

  • Responsibility for multiple domestic and international accounts
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills
  • The highest integrity in all their interactions
  • A demonstrated track record of solution deployments in large enterprises
  • Proven technical relationship management with exposure to senior business and IT executives

Technical Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience as a technical support manager for companies providing software-based solutions to client companies
  • Experience with Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 and 2.0, Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0, Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or later, Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 2.80 or later, Microsoft SQL Server 2000, Microsoft SQL Server 2005
